Is the Old RG III done for the Redskins and their Future?
With all the recent chattering with the Redskins saying they are going to be playing QB Kirk Cousins rather of Robert Griffin III over the last 3 games of the 2013 season. Not simply being sat, however being deactivated for the last 3 video games. Seems to clearly be much more than we are getting from the front of the story, obviously. If he is in truth being sat for reasons of health, all right, let the kid rest, the season is shot, but I can't assist however to question the real underlying reason this is decreasing.

What does it achieve for the Skins? They get to display Kirk Cousins for trade. Which I would think is going to get them some more than good worth for them to move on with.

Cousins is certainly a skilled QB, and the 24 years of age has revealed that he is an excellent pocket passer that many groups could use.

Washington does not have a terrible lot on that group for this to all be thrown on RGIII. Yes has been played poorly, definitely, has it been the let down second year? Yes, he got persevered. Obviously there will be many who feel we can take a look at numerous other kids that brought out him, but Griffin did have a quite world-shattering injury, and I do not believe he was ever healthy this year.

I certainly do not think he was overvalued, and was a fluke, I still think he has a in him, he was simply too good last year. With precision and composure in his first year, he impressed people with his perseverance and his big play capability. And Griffin really doesn't have much around him as far as offense. Yes Shanahan, is the miracle RB guy, we all know it, and he has actually advanced once again with Alfred Morris with 2640+ YD in his 1st 2 seasons for the sixth round (173rd general) prepared RB from Florida Atlantic. So the running video game is fine, but who are the WRs for Griffin? Really? Pierre Garcon? He has been bearable overall, and Santana Moss is 34 and has no separation play any longer. And if the offense isn't clicking they have a bad defense that has actually allowed over 31 ppg this season.

The second year depression naturally has hammered down for several years on players, and it seems it was unavoidable that someone would have their numbers suffer. So with him being available in not totally healed, it made sense. Defenses had more of an opportunity to see what his strengths were and when you are understood for blazing speed when things break down, and your wheels are flattened, it takes a lot out of your affect with what you can achieve on then field.

The Skins aren't going to the playoffs, why not sit him, let him rest, and get himself corrected? He is their franchise QB, this isn't altering. What is probably going to alter is the head coach, I am more than sure of that. The biggest thing RGIII requires to do is 1st, get healthy, and then learn how to be a leader, not just on the field, but in the locker space. Show that he is the man, push passed the rest, and increase above.
RGIII will be back, I'm not composing him off yet. Let's have a look once again at this next year and we'll see how a healthy RGIII reacts to the adversity.
